The new MMLRD is a purpose
built paleomagnetic laboratory rock drill that uses a non-magnetic aluminum
stand and drilling platform to avoid generating high magnetic fields. The
MMLRD Laboratory Drill has a non-magnetic triangular sample holder and
non-slip mat to securely hold hand samples. The MMLRD comes complete with 1”
diamond corer all in a waterproof and shockproof bucket. It is supplied with a pump driven water recirculation system with
easy clean sediment trap.
This is a durable piece of specialist equipment designed for use in palaeomagnetic
laboratories but also has application in rock mechanics and rock engineering laboratories. 110
